Brunei International Airport

Brunei International Airport is the country’s primary air gateway. It is also home to Rimba Air Base. The majority of the flights head to destinations across Oceania and Asia, with London Heathrow being the only exception. Royal Brunei Airlines is headquartered in the airport, and it offers direct flights to Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Kota Kinabalu. Thai Airways International, Singapore Airlines, and Malaysian Airlines are some of the other prominent carriers with a presence here.

Catering to commercial flights since 1974, the single terminal is quite small, but is complete with the usual services and amenities and is notably clean. There is a lost and found counter at the arrivals hall, an information service in the departures lobby, and clinics in both areas. There are taxis waiting right outside the airport to take you to the city center or you can rent a car from one of the booths inside. Bandar Seri Begawan is only a 10-minute drive.
