Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport

Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport is the main air gateway into the Comoros Islands. It serves the capital city of Moroni, offering flights to major African cities. US travelers can connect from Nairobi or Majunga in Madagascar. Trusted airlines serving the airport include Air Madagascar, Air Tanzania, Kenya Airways, Precision Air, Air Austral, and the local carrier, Comores Aviation. Flying is also a convenient way to explore the other islands. Each has its own air hub, mainly served by the flagship carrier, Comores Aviation.

Taxis and rental cars are still the best form of transit to and from the airport. These can easily be picked up from Volo Volo market, right in front of the post office.
