Ouagadougou Airport

Ouagadougou Airport is the main air gateway into Burkina Faso, and it is located right in the heart of the capital. It is served by European and African airlines and is the hub for flagship carrier, Air Burkina. Royal Air Maroc and Brussels Airlines both offer US flights that depart from Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco. Other international airlines provide connections from Paris and neighboring nations.

The terminal is small and basic, but men in uniforms will be glad to assist you, especially with your luggage. Their services are not for free, so be sure to hand them at least a tip (not less than 500 CFA). There is a short-term parking an information desk. Simply call (+226-50-307-848) if you need any help.

The airport is located within two miles of major destinations in Ouagadougou and taxis are available around the clock for easy transportation to and from the city. Green taxis are shared, while white taxis accept solo passengers.
