ET Joshua Airport

This is the main airport in St Vincent and the Grenadines, located in the nation’s capital at Kingstown. It currently does not serve US destinations or further afield, although a new international airport is being built at Argyle, on St Vincent Island, which will have a longer runway and will accommodate larger jets. Argyle International Airport is expected to open in 2013.

Currently this airport only takes flights from regional destinations in the Caribbean such as Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, and San Juan. If you are flying from the US it is likely you will connect at San Juan in Puerto Rico in order to reach St Vincent and the Grenadines. The route is served by LIAT airlines. On arrival in St Vincent, taxis are available to transport you to your hotel, or you can catch a domestic flight to Bequia, Canouan, Mustique, or Union Island.

Other Airports in St Vincent and the Grenadines

There are airports located on the islands of Bequia, Canouan, Mustique, and Union Island. All have domestic connections to ET Joshua Airport in St Vincent, served by SVG Air. You will be transported in small passenger planes on the short routes of 20-30 minutes. From each island it is also possible to fly direct to Barbados.
