Port Bouet Airport

The Ivory Coast’s Port Bouet Airport is the main gateway into the country. It is located some 10 miles from the center of Abidjan, a short commute from key destinations in town. It serves as a major hub for the flagship carrier Air Côte d’Ivoire, which mainly offers service to other African nations. Air France has flights to and from Paris, while Brussels Airlines offers regular trips between the Ivory Coast and Brussels. Connections must be made through either Africa or Europe if coming from North, Central or South American territories.

The airport has a well-developed terminal. In the public halls are practical services like banks, a pharmacy, a library, and a post office, along with a couple of bars and restaurants. The terminal also has duty-free shopping, a cyber café and a VIP lounge. Taxis frequent the airport and are widely available or rental car agencies are found on site.
