Even though Arrecife is the main city on Lanzarote, there are actually many important shopping districts located in the primary resort towns around the island. Shopping centers, arcades, and bustling markets are where you can find a variety of products, and being a duty-free country, things tend to be cheaper than on the European mainland.

Arrecife

All sorts of goods and services are available inside the commercial center of Lanzarote. Calle Leon Y Castillo is the main shopping drag, commonly referred to as Calle Real. It is home to international brands and a range of local retailers. The promenade is also a great place to shop, with a variety of retail items for sale.

Costa Teguise

Within the district of Costa Teguise, a seemingly endless array of shops can be found along the main beach, Playa de las Cucharas. In addition to electronics, visitors can get souvenirs and clothing along the strip. Pueblo Marinero is home to a fascinating craft market each Friday night, and is also a great place for cafés.
