Welcome to Colorado! We can only imagine what early pioneers thought when they first saw the Rocky Mountains, jutting into the heavens. After weeks of trekking across the prairie, they must have been stopped in their tracks by the sight! Come and explore Colorado on our 5-day active program. Enjoy an exciting rafting trip in the Rocky Mountains. Take a unique visit to a gold mine. Enjoy mountain biking and stay in a cozy cabin- complete with fireplace- next to the Continental Divide. Hike along mountain lakes and through pine forests. See Rocky Mountain National Park on the famous Trail Ridge Road and view herds of grazing elk and take in the majestic views. Discover the towns of Boulder and historic Golden as well as Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, the Coors Brewery, Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill’s grave. This unique adventure includes basically everything: all lodging, transportation, meals, equipment, drinks, snacks, park entrance fees and permits, and of course experienced CPR and first-aid trained certified guide.Day by Day Itinerary
Seven night program: Day 1: Denver, ColoradoToday a local iExplore Representative will pick you up at the Denver International Airport or your hotel in Denver for an exciting raft trip in the Rocky Mountains. Rafting trips at all levels are available from June to August. Note: After September rafting will be replaced with another activity such as mountain biking, rock climbing etc. Your exciting raft adventure will be followed by a unique visit to a local gold mine and then dinner at a local microbrewery. Spend the night in a hotel in the mountains.

Overnight at a 3* hotel in Evergreen Day 2: Colorado
We drive deeper and higher into the mountains for a great mountain bike ride to our secluded log cabin located next to the Continental Divide at over 11,000 feet! This cabin is very cozy (yes, there is a fireplace!) and has basic accommodations with spectacular views. Dinner tonight will be served at the cabin. Note: the mountain biking is intermediate level with climbs and descents. If needed, the mountain biking can be replaced with hiking.

Overnight at a cozy log cabin in the mountains Day 3: Colorado
Today we climb to the top of the Continental Divide at over 13,000 feet. This is a strenuous hike but you will not need any climbing equipment. Summiting a mountain this high is simply unforgettable and awe-inspiring. Alternatively, we can also go on a beautiful and easier hike on the legendary Colorado Trail along mountain lakes and through pine forests. After this thrilling experience, we jump on our mountain bikes to enjoy a great downhill to our next mountain log cabin, where dinner is served and we spend the night.

Overnight at a cozy log cabin in the mountains Day 4: Glenwood Springs
We continue our adventure with a beautiful drive through the mountains to the town of Glenwood Springs where we will visit an adventure park including a unique natural cave tour, and some mountain thrill rides. We end the day by relaxing in the famous natural hot springs pools.

Overnight at a 3* hotel in Glenwood Springs Day 5: Glenwood Springs- Estes Park
A beautiful drive through the mountains will take you to Rocky Mountain National Park where we drive on the famous Trail Ridge Road (over 12,000 feet), view herds of grazing elk and admire the majestic views. We stop and stretch our legs on a great hike along mountain lakes, waterfalls and stunning rock formations. We spend the night in the mountain town of Estes Park where we stroll the shops and enjoy an elk of buffalo burger for dinner

Overnight at a 3* hotel or 4* condo in Estes Park Day 6: Estes Park- Boulder- Golden
After a brief visit to the university town of Boulder, we gear up for a memorable rock climbing experience this afternoon. This top-rope climb offers different routes from beginner to experienced. Then, we cool off by tubing down a nearby stream. We spend the night at a nice hotel in historic Golden.

Overnight at a 3* hotel in Golden Day 7: Golden- Depart Denver
We make our way back to Denver and visit a few local attractions along the way. Discover Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, the Coors Brewery, Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill’s grave. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Denver or the Denver International Airport this afternoon.
