Days 1& 2: Amman, JordanBoard your overnight flight to Amman, an exotic white sandstone city built on seven hills, where you are escorted to your elegant hotel.
Regency Palace Hotel Day 3: Refugee Camp Visits
Tour refugee camps in the Amman area, where the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) have contributed basic aid towards education, health, relief and social services to four generations of Palestinian refugees. Learn about a typical day in the classroom while interacting with students and teachers. Find out about healthcare issues while visiting a medical clinic. Return to your hotel with a better understanding of the issues faced by refugees in this region.

Regency Palace Hotel Day 4: Queen Rania Family Center
Today, visit the Queen Rania Family and Child Center. An advocate for the prevention of child abuse, Queen Rania established this center to aid in creating safe houses for children and educational programs to aid parents in positive child-rearing practices.

Regency Palace Hotel Day 5: Jerash
Drive to Jerash, one of the most complete surviving examples of a provincial Roman city with ruins dating back to the Neolithic Age. Drift back in time almost 6500 years as you walk along colonnaded streets to see baths, theaters, plazas and arches in pristine condition. Continue to the castle of Ajloun constructed in 1184 boasting views of terraced farmlands. Marvel at its rambling corridors and staircases replete with ‘murder’ holes – through which tar or pitch greeted hapless invaders. Tucked away overlooking the Sea of Galilee are the ancient city ruins of Um Qais. Wander through impressive Corinthian columns, Ottoman village homes and a Roman basilica. After enjoying lunch on a terrace with views of Jordan, Israel and Syria, return to Amman.

Regency Palace Hotel Day 6: King's Highway- Petra
Follow the King’s Highway, a route as old as Moses, to the city of Maddaba. Embark on a walking tour where you will see the oldest map of the Holy Land laid out in mosaics on the floor of St. George’s Church. Drive to the alleged burial site of Moses at Mt. Nebo adorned by a soaring serpentine cross, overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Continue through the scenic canyons of Wadi Mujib to the imposing fortress of the 12th century Crusader Castle at Kerak. Dimly lit stone-vaulted rooms, massive arches and towers, reflect the military genius of the Crusaders. After lunch at the Kerak Resthouse, your day comes to an end at Taybet, just southeast of Petra dating back to the late 19th-century. Here, experience a Jordanian village complete with grand arches, vaults and local stone structures…and Bedouin-style rooms – all with modern amenities.

Spend a marvelous day exploring the antiquities of Petra, from elaborate tombs, soaring temples and majestic monuments, to Roman theatres, burial chambers and mysterious caves. Enter an immense crack in the Nubian sandstone and find your way to one of the most elegant and impressive structures you will ever witness – El Khazneh (The Treasury) – carved of solid rock from the side of a mountain. Enjoy the sights from horseback.

Travel the Desert Highway to the lowest point on earth – the Dead Sea. You may want to visit the ancient cave thought to be where Lot and his daughters sought refuge after the destruction of Sodom. Stunning geological formations and hidden ravines with lush vegetation tantalize you with their beauty. Enjoy the tranquility of your resort and its natural resources. Float in the saltiest sea in the world while the ozone-rich air fills your lungs and sunshine warms your skin.
