This thrilling two-week loop from LA runs like a greatest hits of the US southwest. Trace the cove-lined coast and uncover its vibrant cities. Cross roaring rivers, span arid deserts, and gaze over the grandest canyon going - not forgetting a certain neon gambling oasis, of course!

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1-2: - Los Angeles & San Diego
Follow the coast to California's answer to winter weather, "always temperate" San Diego. With its world-famous zoo, revitalised downtown, Spanish flavour, SeaWorld Adventure Park, beaches, and perfect year-round climate, it is easy to agree with the locals who call their home "America's Finest City".

Day 3-4: - Colorado River & Wild West Cowboy Camp
Then, spend a night along the mighty Colorado River, before venturing into Arizona's Sonoran Desert and a night at our authentic Wild West Cowboy Camp. With coyotes, hawks, and star-filled skies for company, we camp in beautiful isolation amidst unforgettable forests of giant saguaro cactus.

Day 5: - Monument Valley
Monument Valley, a land of classic western scenery, is the Navajo Nation's greatest natural treasure. Take a jeep tour with the Navajo guides into remote areas made famous by scores of celebrated western movies.

Day 6-7: - Grand Canyon National Park
Just when the scenery seems unbeatable, journey to the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Walk along the rim, hike down a canyon trail, or take a scenic flight; whatever the choice, it will forever create a vivid and indelible memory of this special place.

Day 8-9: - Las Vegas
On to an incredible man-made wonder in the desert - Las Vegas! "The City That Never Sleeps" boasts excellent variety shows, roller coasters, discount shopping and extraordinary architectural facades, as well as its famous bright lights, casino gambling and non-stop nightlife.

Day 10-12: - San Joaquin Valley & San Francisco
Next, "Everybody's Favourite City", San Francisco, with its endless options: walk or mountain bike across the Golden Gate Bridge, ride the cable cars up and down the fabled, steep streets, view the Bay and Alcatraz from the ferry boat ride or Fishermans Wharf, shop in Chinatown and Union Square, and experience the varied nightlife in North Beach or Haight-Ashbury!

Day 13-14: - Pacific Coast & Los Angeles
After leaving our hearts in San Francisco, we travel south along the magnificent California coast, through Santa Barbara en route to Los Angeles, completing this remarkable journey with a tour of Hollywood.

Tour ends at 18:00 hrs in Los Angeles on day 14.
