Abu Simbel Nile Cruise
Fly from Aswan to see the remarkable Egyptian monuments at Abu Simbel. Enjoy a felucca cruise to visit Lord Kitchener’s beautiful Botanical Garden. That afternoon board the beautiful Sonesta St. George I and settle into your accommodations, a Presidential Suite. Sail to Kom Ombo; Edfu, with a visit to the Temple of Horus, considered the best preserved cult temple in Egypt; then to Esna, with its remains of an ancient temple dedicated to the Egyptian god, Khnum. Luxor, Cairo Depart for Home
After breakfast aboard the ship, disembark from the Sonesta St. George I and visit the celebrated ancient sites near Luxor. Highlights include the Valley of the Kings and Queens and the tomb of “King Tut.” Visit the Pyramids with their funeral chambers; the iconic Sphinx; the Solar Boat Museum; and the ancient city of Memphis with Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid.
