Itinerary
DAYS 1 - 3
Sydney, Australia
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. On Day 2, see the highlights of Sydney and its southern beaches including the Botanical Gardens, Hyde Park and Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, for spectacular views. Enjoy a private tour inside the Sydney Opera House and the Museum of Sydney. For lunch, venture into Sydney Harbor and dine as the world floats by.(2B, L)

DAYS 4 & 5
Melbourne
Fly to Melbourne, the cosmopolitan capital of the state of Victoria. Tour Melbourne’s majestic buildings and parks, including the famous Fitzroy Gardens. This afternoon, explore Phillip Island, home to some of Australia’s most unique native wildlife. Get up-close to koalas at the Koala Conservation Centre. At the Phillip Island Visitor Centre, the highlight of the day is watching the “Penguin Parade.”(2B, D)

DAYS 6 - 8
Adelaide the Barossa Valley
Fly to Adelaide where your sightseeing starts with a visit to the Tandanya Culture Centre. Watch a dance and didgeridoo performance, and enjoy traditional bush ’tucker’ (lunch) in the centre’s Tandanya Café. On Day 7, travel to the Barossa Valley wine country, where you will visit a few of the notable wineries. On Day 8, embark on a full-day, private 4-wheel drive tour of Kangaroo Island to view wildlife including kangaroos, koalas and seals in their natural habitat.(3B, 3L)

Ayers Rock/Uluru
This morning fly to Australia’s Red Centre. Enjoy a stay at the Sails in the Desert Hotel, and this evening enjoy dining outdoors, while your very own storyteller shares tales as old as the stars.(B, D)

Ayers Rock/Uluru, Cairns Cape Tribulation
On Day 10, witness a spectacular sunrise at Ayers Rock/Uluru. Fly to Cairns, then transfer to your resort in Palm Cove. On Day 11, visit the forest region of Cape Tribulation. Cruise through silent backwaters where crocodiles are seen basking on the muddy banks. Journey up the beautiful Alexandra Range, passing through rainforest waterfalls.(2B, L)

The Great Barrier Reef Depart for Home
Enjoy a glorious full day on the water as you visit the world’s largest coral reef system, the Great Barrier Reef.
