Arrive in New Delhi in the late evening on Day 2 and discover its fascinating, multifaceted heritage. Old Delhi was the capital of Muslim India between the 17th and 19th centuries, and New Delhi is the imperial city created as the capital of India by the British. A Hindu fortress, a Mughal tomb and an Islamic mosque all reflect the Indian capital’s cultural riches. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, and Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Then explore the twisting streets of the Old City on a traditional rickshaw ride.

Bandhavgarh National Park
Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, famous throughout the world for its large population of tigers and leopards. You’ll stay in a renowned jungle resort and go on safari in search of the big cats, spotted deer, wild boars, sloth bears and jackals.

Visit Jantar Mantar, an incredible observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh; the beautifully carved Palace of Winds; the fascinating City Palace Museum; and the massive Amber Fort. Then, enjoy an elephant ride through the countryside on your way to an exclusive festive candlelight dinner.

New Delhi Depart for Home
Spend the morning of Day 14 at the Pushkar Fair, then transfer back to New Delhi by air. Enjoy a day at leisure and a festive farewell dinner on Day 15. In the early morning on Day 16 you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home or on to your next destination.
