Itinerary
DAY 1
Yangon, Myanmar
Visit the Shwedagon Pagoda, a gleaming gold spire that towers above the city. Its relics of past Buddhas make this the most sacred of Burmese pagodas. Then onto the National Museum for an orientation to this mystical country.

DAY 2
Bagan
Explore the Shwezigon Paya Pagoda, built in 1090. Visit the Gubyaukhyi Temple at Wetkyi-Inn, built in the early 13th century, to see the colorful painting about the early life of Buddha; and then see the Gubyaukgyi Temple at Myinkaba.(B)

DAYS 3 & 4
Amanpura Mandalay
Visit Amanpura and explore the Mahagandayon Monastery. Stop at the most famous temples, such as Tupayon Paya and Hsinmyashin Paya (The Pagoda of Many Elephants). The last capital of royal Burma, Mandalay is one of the largest cities in Myanmar, and its cultural and spiritual center. Visit the Mahamuni Paya Temple, with its image of Buddha covered in six inches of gold leaf.(2B)

Heho Inle Lake
Enjoy a boat excursion on Inle Lake - calm waters dotted with patches of floating vegetation and fishing canoes. Visit the floating gardens, a floating market and an Intha village.(2B)

DAY 7
Yangon
This morning travel by boat and then drive back to Heho for your flight south to the fertile delta of the wide Yangon River to the city of Yangon. The afternoon is at your leisure.(B)

Today bid farewell to this exotic land. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home or on to your next destination.(B)
