DAYS 1 - 3
Madrid Toledo, Spain
Madrid is one of the world’s most vibrant and seductive cities. Visit the Plaza de Oriente, the historic quarter including the 17th-century Plaza Mayor, and a wonderful Baroque square lined with arcades and picturesque cafés. Relish an in-depth tour of the majestic Prado Museum, recently revamped and home to one of the world’s finest collections of European art. Spend a day exploring Toledo’s splendid medieval heart. Marvel at the soaring gothic cathedral, home to paintings by El Greco, Van Dyck and Goya. Wander through the old Jewish quarter which includes two of the few remaining medieval synagogues in Spain.(2B, L, D)

Córdoba Granada
Your private half-day tour of Córdoba begins at the breathtaking Mezquita, or Grand Mosque. In Granada, unrivaled for beauty and architectural splendor, take a private tour of the Alhambra, and later, visit the Generalife, the jewel in the crown of the Moorish kingdom of Spain.(2B)

Ronda
Today drive through the olive tree-lined countryside to Ronda, Andalusia’s well- known “white village.” Ronda boasts many cultural landmarks, including a bullring, one of the oldest and most beautiful in Spain.(B)

Seville
Seville is the city of flamenco, bulls, Carmen and Don Juan. Stroll through the enchanting barrios or neighborhoods, where the colors of the south reign supreme. A highlight of your visit to Seville will be an authentic flamenco performance. (2B)

Barcelona Depart for Home
Enjoy a tour of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter including the Picasso Museum and the unique and magical Cathedral of Sagrada Familia. On Day 11 you will be taken to the airport for your flight home or on to your next destination. (3B)
