The intermediate 6.8-mile round-trip hike from the lower parking lot takes around four hours to complete, has a 2,000-foot change in elevation, and winds along abandoned 1800s mining equipment and directly to Continental Falls, the highest waterfall in Breckenridge. Note: If you have a 4WD car that can handle the terrain, there is a second parking lot available, which will shave off about a mile and a half from the hike overall.
