“True luxury isn't just about what you do, it's about how you feel.” Raffles Hotel and Resorts' newest member, the 19th century property formerly known as the Hotel Europejski is no stranger to that business model. Located in Poland’s proud capital city of Warsaw in the picturesque Old Town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Europejski Warsaw has been restored to its original glory and infused with modern charm. Recently unveiled to the public in May 2018, here's a sneak peek inside Warsaw's newest luxury hotel.

Originally opened in 1857, Hotel Europejski was a landmark hotel through World War II. After being destroyed during the war, the property was rebuilt and restored to its original glory in the 1950s. Today, the hotel is a key landmark in the city's historic district. (Photo courtesy of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts)
Distinct architectural displays, 19th century structures, vibrant colors, cobbled streets, it’s easy to see why Warsaw was once called “the Paris of the East.” As well as being one of Europe’s most scenic urban sprawls, the city is known for its bars, restaurants, art galleries, museums, and green spaces. Every detail of the hotel was designed to commemorate the sheer beauty and resiliency of this property, and local designers were commissions to accurately transform Hotel Europejski into a luxurious retreat. For example, the marble bathrooms portray a mural of the Warsaw cityscape, while the famous Polish artworks are designed to remember the artists that housed their studios in the hotel decades ago. Hotel Europejski wasn’t the only meeting place beloved by the city. Lourse Warszawa was Europejski patisserie, which has been transformed today to celebrate its deep rooted story while serving the most decadent cakes and pastries in the city of Warsaw. (Photo courtesy of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts)
With art as a focal point to the hotel, an on-site art gallery and special Art Concierge help guests experience the local area through visual storytelling. In addition to history city tours that can be arranged by the concierge, a 24-hour in-room dining and butler service allow guests to truly indulge in the full Raffles Hotels experience.
