Welcome to Australia! You are met upon arrival in Melbourne and escorted to your hotel, ideally located in the city center.

The day is yours to spend at leisure, to relax or venture out to explore this friendly city on your own.

Day 2

Melbourne & the Yarra Valley

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing through the countryside just beyond Melbourne today.

Meet your driver and guide for a short drive outside the city to one of Australia’s leading wine making areas, the Yarra Valley. En route, travel through beautiful rural countryside with the opportunity to see wild kangaroos in their natural habitat.

The Yarra Ranges sets a picturesque backdrop to the numerous vineyards and renowned restaurants dotting the area. Stop to sample wines from an assortment of boutique wineries that have been specially selected to suit your interests, passions and wine preferences. Take a private tour behind-the-scenes, and enjoy a barrel tasting with one of the region’s most respected wine makers. Later, savor lunch with paired with wines at another notable vineyard.

Melbourne & the Great Ocean Road

Today, explore the cliff-hugging Great Ocean Road, overlooking roaring seas, tranquil coves, and secluded beaches. A relaxing drive one and-a-half hours outside the city brings you to monstrous cliffs, roaring seas, tranquil coves and secluded beaches. Gain insight into Australian surfing culture at Bells Beach, with its rugged cliffs and big waves, and soak up the atmosphere at the coastal village of Lorne.

Stop at award-winning Chris’s Restaurant for panoramic ocean views and a lunchtime feast of fresh seafood and fantastic local wines.

This afternoon, thrill to one of the world’s truly great scenic flights in a light aircraft above the rugged ship wreck coast. Fly from Apollo Bay over the world renowned 12 Apostles, Moonlight Head, the Cape Otway Lightstation, Gibson’s Steps, the Loch Ard Gorge.
