    Brunei International Airport
    Airport Code: BWN
Full Airport Name: Bandar Seri Begwan International Airport
Location: The airport is situated 2 miles (4km) north-west of the city center.
    Time Zone: GMT +8
    Phone Number: Tel: +673 2 331 706
Terminal Transfer: There is only one terminal at the airport.
Ground Transport: The journey to the city should take 15 to 25 minutes. Hail one of the Purple taxis outside of the arrivals hall or book ahead by calling PPP on 222-214 or 226-853 from inside the terminal. Insist on
paying the officially posted rate otherwise you may be charged up to 30% more by the compulsively avaricious drivers. Another option is to travel into Bandar Seri Begawan by bus. Purple buses #23, 24, 36, 38 and 57 run between the bus station and the airport for the city center every 30 minutes. Note that although cheaper, this is a less frequent and convenient service than that of the more reliable taxis.
Car Rental: There are no car rental offices at the airport so you will need to pre-arrange a pickup by calling your preferred provider: Avis: 238-238; Budget: 229-388; Elsie: 227-237; and Roseraya: 241-442.
Airport Facilities: Luggage lockers can be found on the arrivals level. A Skycom Airport Business Center and Business Corner offer a range of business facilities. Other amenities include banks, bureaux de change, ATMs, bars and restaurants, tourist information, a hotel reservation desk, post office and shops, including duty-free. Facilities for disabled passengers are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Car Parking: Long and short-term parking, and valet parking is available.
Departure Tax: BND 5 for flights to Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia. BND 12 to all others.
