Tour Overview
This adventure is the ideal way to experience the medieval villages and beautiful scenery of Spain's Catalonia region. The rugged Costa Brava ranks among Spain's most beautiful coastlines, where history, culture, art, and scenery combine with Catalonia's famous cuisine to make the trip of a lifetime.

Day 1 Arrive Barcelona
Arrive in Barcelona at any time.

Day 2 Vall de Nuria / Ribes de Freser
Venture to Queralbs to visit the Nuria Sanctuary where pilgrims from around the world have made the journey since the 12th century. Take the cog train back to Ribes de Freser to relax for the evening.

Day 3 Olot
An early train to Olot for a pleasant walk to the Medieval village of Santa Pau. The historic town of Olot is located within one of the most important volcanic areas in Europe, Garrotxa. Hike the two volcanoes, Santa Margarida and Croscat, and enjoy their stunning views and delightful scenery, leaving ample time to explore many lovely local villages.

Day 4-5 Girona
Take a morning bus to Girona, and a guided tour of the city. Many bars and restaurants line Girona's Calle la Força, in the centre of the old city.
Libertan and Plaça del Vi, are two of the best areas to grab a bite to eat in the afternoon since they have ample outdoor seating. There is time to explore this fascinating city at your own pace. Take an optional visit to the Cathedral, the film museum or just pamper your self at the Peralada Wine Spa.

Day 6-7 Cadaqués
Moving towards the coast, visit the Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery and the ruins of Empuries. En route take in the Peralada Castle, a "Cava" Spanish winery, before arriving at Cadaqués, a beautiful little village on a rocky bay.
