Surinamese peppers (Madame Jeanette)

These are some of the hottest peppers known to man. What is shown in this picture is enough heat to burn the mouths of a small army. I took this at the Kwakoe festival in Amsterdam's Bijlmer, a predominantly Surinamese neighborhood.
