Aït Benhaddou Qsar

Aït Benhaddou is located in Souss-Massa-Draâ on a hill along the Ouarzazate River in the Atlas mountain region. As is true with most Berber villages, most of the current inhabitants have moved to a more modern village adjacent to their ancestral home. But some ten families still live in the qsar, and they supplement farming income with tips earned by showing curious tourists a glimpse of their lives and their livestock.
