Man-made lakes and thirsty people
A man-made lake in Suchitoto. In July 2007 at a public forum on the privatization of water utilities 13 people were arrested during a peaceful protest. Charged with being anti-government terrorists, they faced 20-60 year prison terms. All charges were dropped in February 2008.
