The Grand Ole Opry started its weekly radio broadcast in 1925, and the city hasn’t looked back, becoming a hotbed for country music and a diverse range of artists and musicians. Downtown Nashville now has modern hotels and state-of-the-art music venues, and continues to attract music fans in their millions.
