Major outlet shopping centers scatter the state, especially in and around Columbus. The towns of Lebanon and Waynesville are known as the ‘Antiques Capital of the Midwest.’ For specialty Amish buys, the best areas for shopping are the 8km (5-mile) radius around Fredericksburg in Wayne County and the area between Charm and Farmerstown in Holmes County.
