Accommodation varies from ancient palace hotels and modern luxury hotels to funduks and tribal huts. It is necessary to book in advance and to receive a written confirmation. All bills are subject to a 10 to 15% service charge. Standards range from basic to 5-star. Outside the main centers, facilities are limited. Khokha and Mokha have campsites; details may be obtained from local travel agents in Sana’a.
