Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset

Set in the scenic Lake Hovsgol National Park, runners can run the regular marathon route or, for the super fit, the 100km ultramarathon. Both routes take place next to the stunning fresh water lake of Hovsgol, which has earned it the title of “world’s most beautiful run”.

The Gobi Naadam Festival

The Nomads Day Festival

The Nomads Day Festival is a celebration of the Mongolian nomads at the Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve. The exciting cultural festival is a revival of traditional nomadic culture, including horse riding competitions, folklore stories and singing and dancing shows. Visitors are encouraged to take part in their very own competition as the best dressed nomadic outfit, with the whole festival ending in a gala dinner and bon fire party.
