More than 1,000 hotels in Scotland, as well as numerous guest houses and bed and breakfasts, are members of the 'Walkers Welcome' initiative and make special efforts to meet the needs of walkers. Over 1,000 accommodation in providers in Scotland are members of the cyclist-friendly 'Cyclists Welcome' scheme.
Grading: Accommodation in Scotland is classified using a star rating system of 1 to 5 stars.
