Markets
For something a little different, head to Chinatown where every other Sunday there is a large Chinese market that sells everything from freshly prepared food to traditional Chinese cooking pots.

Of particular note is the Cavern Designer Shopping Center on Mathew Street in the Cavern Quarter, where Vivienne Westwood has a boutique.
Key areas
Liverpool ONE is the new, buzzing retail and leisure district close to Albert Dock, featuring more than 160 stores, including John Lewis, Debenhams, an Apple store plus designer brands. A few minutes's walk away off Whitechapel is the Metquarter, featuring designer stores such as MAC, Molton Brown and Flannels. Bold Street is great if you're looking for alternative, bohemian shops. Other shops are on or close to a few main streets around Williamson Square, but it is worth exploring side streets for some of the city's more unusual boutiques and stores.
