Bratislava Jazz Days

First held in 1975 with a band of musicians from Czechoslovakia and other neighboring socialist countries, the festival has grown over the years to become a big jazz event attracting musicians and music fans from across Europe and even further afield. Past performers have included the American trumpeter Lee Harper, Bobby McFerrin, Herbie Hancock, Courtney Pine, Victor Bailey and Marcus Miller.
