This is an elegant restaurant serving traditional Neapolitan dishes - including delicious pizzas. The interior is quite modern, and the ambience has a certain ‘cultured' or even artistic character. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly, making guests feel at home.

Da Dora
Located in the Chiaia area, Da Dora is considered by many to be the best seafood restaurant in Naples. An attractive, picturesque restaurant, it has a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. It is utterly unpretentious and lets the fish and seafood on offer speak for itself.

La Chiacchierata
This is a small family-owned restaurant serving local specialties. It is centrally located just off Piazza Plebescito, and it as authentic as they come. Home-grown vegetables and home-made dishes full of flavor (from pizza to pasta and seafood) are on offer. Please note that La Chiacchierata is only open for lunch.

Pizzeria Port' Alba
As is well known, pizza is a genuine Neapolitan invention, and the Pizzeria Port' Alba is one of the city's oldest pizzerias. It started business as early as 1830, and it still serves some of the best pizzas to be had in Naples.

Nightlife

Bars: The trendy Superfly, Via Cisterna dell’Olio 12, is a small but fun and very busy bar. Another bar with a great atmosphere is located just a few doors away, Kinky Bar, Cisterna dell’Olio 16, where the emphasis is firmly on reggae music. The literary cafe and bar Intra Moenia at number 70, is a stylish and classy place to have a drink. The Shamrock Irish Pub, Via Foria 185 is the place to enjoy a Guinness.

Clubs: Jail Club
, Via Sedile di Porto 65, is a club in the historic center of the city with various themed nights ranging from goth and indie to beer parties. Discoteka Meridionale, Via Principe Umberto 14 is a typical club with good dance music. S’move, Vico dei Sospiri 10a, is a Naples classic with a nice bar and good DJs providing the musical entertainment.

Live Music: Bourbon Street
, Piazza Bellini, is a good place for beer and all kinds of live music. Harem Café, Via G Imperatrice 36-38, features local bands and DJs. Possibly the best jazz club in Naples is Around Midnight, Via Bonito 32/A (tel: 081 558 2834; website: www.aroundmidnight.it), which attracts many famous performers. Big Italian and international jazz and rock acts sometimes perform at the Teatro Tenda Partenope, Via Barbagallo Corrado 115 (tel: 081 570 0008). Big concerts also take place at Arena Flegrea at Mostra d’Oltremare, Piazza le Tecchio 52 (tel: 081 725 8000). Piazza Plebiscito, the spacious open square on the west side of the Royal Palace, is also used for big concerts.
