Anguilla Tranquillity Jazz, Golf and Wine Festival
November 10, 2011 - November 13, 2011
Four days of celebrity golf, hosted dinners and of course Jazz music, held in mid November each year. The island’s leading restaurants showcase their cuisine and wine lists, golfers test themselves on the Temenos course and of course there are evenings of jazz, culminating with Jazz on the Beach at Johnno’s in Sandy Ground.
Moonsplash music festival
March 1, 2012 - March 31, 2012
Hosted by home-grown calypsonian and musician Bankie Banx over the full moon weekend in March, an easy-going festival of Caribbean music with leading reggae artists - savour traditional reggae music and cocktails at his bar, the Dune Preserve beach bar on Rendezvous Bay.
Festival del Mar
April 6, 2012 - April 9, 2012
Set in the fishing village of Island Harbour over Easter, the Festival del Mar sees all sorts of seaborne activity, including sailing boat and model boat races, fishing competitions, swimming races and of course live music under the stars. On Sunday there are seafood competitions and kite-flying, a traditional Easter activity.
Anguilla Day

Commemorating Anguilla’s secession from St Kitts and Nevis, the day starts with marching bands in The Valley (8am), but the centerpiece is the Round the Island yacht race, which starts (about 9am) and eventually finishes (late afternoon) in Sandy Ground, where there are bands and barbecues on the beach.
Summer Festival
July 29, 2012 - August 7, 2012
Anguilla’s annual carnival and summer festival of fun, ten days of carnival activities around the island, starting with Jouvert, fireworks, Miss Anguilla and Carnival Queen shows, calypso competitions and then costumed carnival street parades, followed by beach parties and general jump-ups. Also boat races (Anguilla’s national sport).
