Carthage International Festival, Jul-Aug, the country's largest cultural festival with music, dance, theater and art in the Roman amphitheater of Carthage (website: www.festival-carthage.com.tn)
Kharja Festival, Sidi Bou Said, Jul-Aug, Sufi brotherhoods gather for a procession up to the shrine of the local Muslim saint after whom the village is named
Festival d'Epervier (Falconry Festival), Jul, four days of falconry demonstrations, live music and a big market. Sparrow hawks are captured during their spring migration, trained and released again after the festival. El-Haouaria, Cap Bon (two hours by bus from Tunis)
Hammamet International Festival, Jul-Aug, a wide variety of international performances of music and theater, Hammamet (one hour by train from Tunis)
