Zanzibar International Film Festival

The annual Zanzibar International Film Festival is the biggest cultural event on the island and takes place in various historical locations in Stone Town on the island of Zanzibar. During the nine-day festival, visitors can expect a warm introduction to the island’s unique cultural heritage through not only film but art, crafts, literature, film, dance, performing arts and music. Events also take place on the nearby islands of Unguja and Pemba.
