Terminal Transfer
The two terminals are five miles (3km) apart, which are connected by a free bus service which takes 10 - 15 minutes. Several Indian Airlines flights (especially to Goa) depart from the Internationals Terminal.
Ground Transport
Pre-paid taxis are available outside Arrivals (journey time approx 60 min).
Car Rental
Car hire, with or without a driver, can be arranged in Arrivals, however due to the erratic nature of Indian driving self-drive cars are not advised.
Airport Taxis
Pre-paid taxis are available outside Arrivals at terminals 2A and 2C. The journey time is approximately one hour to the city center of Mumbai and costs approximately Rs. 250 to Rs. 300.
Airport Facilities
ATMs and bureau de change are available in both terminals along with a number of bars, restaurants and shops. There are limited disabled facilities and travelers with special needs should advise their airline in advance. As with all Indian airports, travelers should be prepared for a certain amount of chaos; queues are long for immigration and the many security checks and endless uniformed staff stand around with no obvious purpose. The restaurants are best avoided and passengers are advised to take their own snacks.
Car Parking
Parking is available at both terminals.
Departure Tax
Rs. 750 (usually included in ticket price).
