Utah, United States — Resorts
Park City

The vacation destination of Park City, in Utah, is famous for its three world-class ski resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley and The Canyons. Together they form one of the USA's largest ski areas. The outstanding facilities for winter sports offered at Park City earned the resort town several of the 2002 Winter Olympic events. Park City was a former silver mining town in the 19th century. Its Main Street is a restored historic district that adds a different dimension to the character of the town, which now boasts stylish condos and the state's most sophisticated resort community. Home to the Utah Olympic Park, Park City affords an abundance of skiing for all levels. Park City is also a wonderful summer vacation destination, offering plenty of outdoor activities in the superb setting of the Wasatch Mountain Range, such as hiking, fishing and biking. Despite the conservative drinking laws that govern most of the state, Park City has a buzzing nightlife that rivals the ski resorts of neighboring Colorado.
Deer Valley

Voted best ski resort in North America in 2001 and 2005 by SKI Magazine, the exclusive vacation resort of Deer Valley was againvoted the best for three consecutive years in a row in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Opened in 1981, Deer Valley took over the old site of Snow Park. Millions of dollars later, it has created a reputation for itself highly regarded among skiers the world over (and most probably has something to do with the fact that they don't allow snowboarders near the mountain). Deer Valley is located in the Park City area, Utah, and in 2002, hosted select events of the Winter Olympics. As its popularity increases it continues to attract the upper echelons; the levels of service in all aspects from accommodation, dining to grooming and slope maintenance continue to rise.
