Omaha Summer Arts Festival
For over 30 years the Omaha Summer Arts Festival has been attracting throngs of art and fair lovers, to celebrate local and national creative talent. With gallery markets and artist booths, visitors can browse the many colorful displays, watch live demonstrations and marvel at the sheer variety of work exhibited, from painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, ceramics, printmaking and works of wood, glass and metal. Bring the kids for the interactive children’s fair and be sure not to miss the eclectic live musical performances.
College World Series
Experience the American pastime in the heartland of America. For more than 50 years, Omaha has hosted the annual NCAA Division I Championship Baseball College World Series. The country’s top eight men’s university teams compete for the world title. The series features a free opening day celebration with live music as well as team practice and autograph sessions.
