Over two million people swarm Muscat for the month long annual festival celebrating a wide range of all things Omani. Theater, music, arts and sports events are showcased along side family activities and a carnival atmosphere. Other Arabic countries offer music and theater performances from their cultures as well, letting visitors enjoy and eclectic mix of arts. The festival is capped with an impressive fireworks show.
Dubai-Muscat Offshore Sailing Race
The Dubai to Muscat Offshore Sailing Race celebrates the finish of the 360 nautical mile sailing competition. The yachts come in sometimes days apart but the winners are greeted to an enthusiastic crowd of celebrators. These sleek boats are top of the line and their entrance into the marina is a show in itself.
