Bahrain National Day

Back in 1971, the island nation of Bahrain ceased to be a British protectorate and was declared an independent emirate. This independence is celebrated each year on National Day with festive events including parades, marches, speeches and fireworks throughout the island. An annual statement is also presented on National Day, by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to honor the state of the emirate.

Bahrain Grand Prix

Every year the Bahrain International Circuit hosts its Grand Prix event, a round of Formula One races that see the world’s top drivers zooming around a challenging track designed by Grand Prix legend Hermann Tilke. The Circut features dramatic elevation changes and three areas for overtaking.

Jewellery Arabia

This international exhibition of Middle Eastern jewelry and watches is held annually at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center. The Arabian passion for fine jewelry has inspired the world’s most dynamic jewelry market, of paramount proportions, with trade demand ranging from simple gold designs to exclusive and customized pieces.
