Rugby World Cup 2011 in Christchurch

The AMI Stadium in Christchurch, formally known as Lancaster Park, was upgraded to host seven games during the Rugby World Cup 2011. Unfortunately, because of massive structural damage to the city in the February 2011 earthquake, all World Cup events in Christchurch have been moved to other cities.
