Hibiscus Festival

Fiji’s Hibiscus Festival, modeled on Hawaii’s Aloha Week, is an event featuring Pacific modern and traditional culture, including arts and crafts, dance, music, food and sports. The event includes the Miss Hibiscus pageant, military displays, the Hibiscus Ball, and a parade down the center of town. Held in Suva each August since 1956, the festival is the biggest in Fiji.
