Festival International Kréol
Venues all over Mauritius host the Festival International Kréol which celebrates the vibrancy of the Creole culture with poetry readings, dances, Sega dance spectacles and parties which don’t stop until the wee hours. Each year, several events are scheduled such as a conference, a culinary festival and numerous music concerts. In 2009, the flagship event will be held on the final day of the festival with headlining acts such as Jamaican singer Shaggy who will be supported by local groups like Zot Sa, OSB and Blakmen Blues.
