Tour Overview
South of Naples lies the famed Amalfi Coast, where pretty villages and terraced fields cling to steep cliffs above the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Before exploring the hidden gems of this area, we enjoy the more mountainous and fascinating region of the Cilento National Park. In this rugged and isolated area, newly-opened trails wind along the coastline through wild mountain scenery. Our discovery continues as we take the ferry to Amalfi and complete a wonderful trek with five magnificent days on this stunning coastline. We move on to a new base every two or three days with our luggage transported to the next small local hotel or traditional agriturismo. This allows time to explore the landscape, culture and food at a leisurely pace, without forgetting to soak up the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
