Prize: iExplore will award one (1) Prize to one (1) winner whose name is randomly drawn from all entries received and who is otherwise eligible. Prize consists of the following item for winner
Culinary Tour of Maine: 5 day/ 4 night tour throughout Maine for winner plus one guest. Tour includes 4 nights in a hotel, ground transportation, activities throughout stay and most meals. Airfare is not included and winner is responsible to get to Portland International airport. Retail Value is $4,880.
Winner is solely responsible for all expenses and charges not specified above as part of the Prize, including but not limited to: airfare from winners home city to Portland International airport in Portland, Maine, beverages, meals not included in the itinerary, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, hotel services before or after the tour, side trips, optional extra activities, travel insurance, and anything else not listed as being included. Hotels may require a credit card or cash deposit to cover incidental expenses. iExplore reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Any such change will be announced. One (1) name will be drawn on August 3, 2009. If the name drawn is disqualified or determined to be ineligible for any reason, an alternate name will be selected by random drawing. Alternate winners must meet all requirements set forth in these Official Rules. If no eligible winner is selected after two (2) names have been drawn no further drawings will be held and the prize will not be awarded.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. Sweepstakes begins on Monday, May 11th, 2009. The last day to enter is July 31, 2009 at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participants must be at least 21 years of age and residents of the United States (except void in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and Guam at the time of entry. Participants agree to these Official Rules. Prize Restrictions/Consumer Disclosure: Prize may not be extended, transferred, or substituted or redeemed for cash except that iExplore may substitute prize of equal or greater value if deemed necessary. Prize must be redeemed by June 30, 2010. Only one (1) Prize will be awarded, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in these rules. iExplore will furnish to the Internal Revenue Service any required tax reporting forms relating to the award of any prize, including Form 1099-MISC and winner is soley responsible for all federal, state and local taxes related to prize. iExplore will notify winner by overnight mail. Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release and complete a booking form agreeing to iExplore’s customer agreement. Winner must return those signed documents no later than 7 days after receipt of notification letter. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of alternate winner.
How to Enter: Entries for the Culinary Tour of Maine Sweepstakes may be submitted beginning May 11, 2009. Drawing to determine the winner will be held on August 3, 2009. To be eligible for the drawing, entries must be received by iExplore no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on July 31, 2009. To enter, access iExplore’s web site at www.iexplore.com and complete the online entry form or complete a postcard with the required information and return to iExplore. Participants must fill out each of the Required Fields on the web site entry form. The following required information must be provided: first and last name, e-mail address, and complete home address, home telephone number, city, state and zip code. To submit the completed entry form to iExplore, click on the Submit button. Participants who fail to fill out all of the required fields or provide invalid e-mail addresses will not be notified by iExplore. Limit one (1) entry per participant per day. Participants may not enter multiple times under different e-mail addresses. iExplore reserves the right to determine whether multiple entries have been received from any participant by comparing the information submitted with personal identification information on participant's valid photo identification or by any other means, and to disqualify any such participant. All such decisions are final. iExplore is not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, or for any failed telephone or computer hardware or software, or for any failed, delayed, misdirected, corrupted, or garbled transmissions or errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic, or for entries that for any reason are not received by iExplore by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on July 31, 2009. All entry forms become the property of iExplore and will not be returned.
Selection of Winner of the iExplore Culinary Tour of Maine Sweepstakes: Subject to the eligibility requirements in these Official Rules, the participant whose entry is randomly selected on August 3, 2009 will win the Prize. iExplore will notify the winner by overnight mail, addressed to the home address provided on winner's entry form. Before receiving any prize and as a condition of receiving such prize, the winner must provide valid photo identification featuring his or her name, date of birth, and address as it appeared on the entry form supplied, provide his or her social security number, offer proof of proper age and residency in any state in the U.S. and sign an affidavit of eligibility and release and booking form supplied by iExplore which, among other disclaimers, releases iExplore, and a range of subsidiaries, directors, agents, agencies, affiliates, advertisers, promoters, officers, directors, employees and related persons from any and all liability related to this Sweepstakes and the receipt and use of the prize. Winner may also be required to sign other legal documents (including tax forms). Failure to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and release, without making changes, to iExplore within 7 days after receipt of notification letter will result in disqualification, forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner. If a winner is disqualified or determined to be ineligible for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. Alternate winners must meet all requirements set forth in these Official Rules. Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States (except Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and Guam) who are at least 21 years old at time of entry, as confirmed on valid photo identification. Employees of iExplore, and of its affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, advertisers, promoters, and the immediate families of the employees of any of these, are not eligible. The term 'immediate family' includes only spouses, parents, and children.
Miscellaneous: All federal, state and local laws apply. Participants need not be present to win. iExplore shall be entitled to interpret these rules as needed including but not limited to rules regarding entries, selection of winners, and eligibility and all its decisions are final. iExplore reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes or any part of this Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, non-authorized intervention, telecommunications or computer failure, or malfunction, or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or impair the security, administration, fairness and/or operation of this Sweepstakes as determined by iExplore in its sole discretion. iExplore is not responsible for injury or damage to participant's (or any other person's) computer, modem, or other electronic device, related to or resulting from participating or receiving materials in this Sweepstakes, or any other liability or damage of any kind related to this Sweepstakes. iExplore reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it reasonably suspects or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the award mechanism, whether on-line or by any other means, or to be acting in violation of these rules.
