Day 1: Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival into the Kilimanjaro International airport, you are met for your road transfer to your hotel for overnight. The Arusha HotelDays 2 & 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After an early morning breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha Airport to board your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. A representative from Lake Manyara Tree Lodge will meet you at Manyara Airstrip for your game-drive transfer to the lodge. Activities include guided nature walks in the forest, along the perennial river down to the lake shore, escorted by Masai Askari’s. Game-drives and forest birding walks in Lake Manyara National Park are also available. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge (B,L,D)Days 4 & 5: Serengeti National Park
Early morning breakfast, before your game-drive to Manyara Airstrip, where you board your scheduled flight to Klein’s or Grumeti Airstrip. From the airstrip a short game-drive will bring you to camp. Two overnights at Klein’s Camp or Grumeti River Camp in a thatched cottage with en-suite hand basins, shower and w/c. Activities include game-drives and nature walks in the Klein’s Camp private concession. The afternoon game-drives extend after sunset with the aid of a spotlight, returning to the camp after dark. Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. A representative from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge will meet you for your transfer to the lodge. Two overnights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in a luxury double suite with en-suite hand basins, bath, shower and private w/c. Each suite is tended by a butler. Activities include game-drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. Additional activities may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles, and include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands and a visit to a Maasai village. Enjoy an early morning breakfast. Transfer to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax in your dayroom and enjoy dinner before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your homebound flight.
