Modern design encounters the intricate stone carvings of the restored Haveli buildings to give RAAS a unique aesthetic. Age-old craftsmanship has been reinterpreted with a fresh twist and contemporary shapes. The warm, pinkish hue of the local sandstone meets the cool tones of the famous Jodhpur blue. Smooth black terrazzo, crisp white sheets, subtle patterns etched into the pink sandstone which call out for you to run your fingertips over their textures and, most unforgettably, a view like no other. Wherever you are - on your private balcony, in the bath, lazing by the serene outdoor pool - it seems as though you could simply reach out and touch the majestic Mehrangarh Fort which stands impressively close on a high rocky outcrop, monument to a bygone age of Rajput splendour.
