The Mountain Goat Lodge is now under new ownership. This classic western lodge was built in 2003 on 19 acres with stunning views of the collegiate peaks of the Sawatch Mountain Range. Guest rooms feature view balconies, private baths, free local and Long distance telephone, HD Flat screen TVs, HBO, Showtime, WI-FI, queen beds and log furniture. Two suites offer a queen or king bed and queen sleeper sofas to accommodate families. Relax in our great room with a two-story fireplace, leather couches, grand piano and large deck. Soak in our private hot tub in the trees behind lodge. Enjoy a game of chess in our Library, or borrow a DVD to watch in your room. A truly casual, comfortable atmosphere to enjoy the rustic mountain lifestyle. Our Dairy Goats and free range chickens provide the basis for a healthy breakfast served from 8 - 00 to 9 - 00 a.m. We include fresh baked pastry, eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, yogurt, cereals, juice, bagels, toast, freshly ground coffee and teas. Professional espresso machine for your choice of lattes or other espresso drinks. Later, enjoy our happy hour where our guests compare notes and activities. At bedtime enjoy our home-baked cookies. 24 Hour self-service coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. Close to hiking and bike trails, fishing, art galleries, rafting, skiing, hot springs and horseback riding. Special skiing and romance packages available. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
