In spring, when snow starts melting from the mountains and flowers start blooming, it is time for hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, and biking through the forests and along the canals carrying fresh water. It is a favorite place for visitors from the bay area, Stockton, Modesto, Oakdale, Bakersfield, and Los Angles.
