The 4 Star Bedford Lodge Hotel is a haven of peace and calm, spectacularly situated in three acres of beautiful rose gardens in Newmarket, Suffolk. Parts of the hotel date back to the 17th Century, yet its luxurious facilities are very much 21st Century. Offering stylish well-appointed guestrooms and luxurious suites, spacious conference and meeting rooms, excellent cuisine in the award-winning two AA Rosette Orangery restaurant and a first class health club with sparkling 15 meter indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi bath, sauna and steam rooms. Situated only 20 minutes from the city of Cambridge and within easy reach of central London making it the ideal location for business or a short break. Half a mile from the world famous Newmarket Racecourse. Ample free parking. Our swimming pool and surrounding area during the duration of 16th June 2008 until the 26th July 2008 Whilst the pool will be out of order for the refurbishment the gym will continue to be available. Over this time we have arranged for guests to have the alternative option of two of our local pools with our compliments.
Location Description
Bedford Lodge is just 18 miles from Cambridge and half a mile from Newmarket Racecourse, set in landscaped grounds. It is easy to reach by road, just off M-A11/A14. Newmarket railway station is half a mile from the hotel. Stansted Airport is just 30 miles, about 30 minutes drive. - The Orangery Restaurant offers a classical style of service. It has been awarded twoAA Rosettes for it?s superior cuisine. The A'la Carte and set dinner menus offer a wide range of tempting dishes complemented by an extensive wine selection. The restaurant is relaxed but formal and has a no smoking policy. The Roxanna Bar serves light snacks throughout the day.
