Sunway Playa Golf Sitges Hotel and Apartments was opened in June 2003, and it is located on the Promenade of Sitges, just 40 km. south from Barcelona, in front of the sea and beside the golf club, in the residential area of Sitges, less than half an hour on foot or 10 minutes by bicycle from the town s center, where all bars and shops are located. It is the perfect place to stay and enjoy holidays at the beach, to play golf in a Mediterranean championship golf course, to stay on business travel, or just to spend some relax days any time of the year enjoying the climate of this Spanish coastal town. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, a gym, terraces, Jacuzzi, a restaurant and a bar in front of the sea, the only ones on the Promenade of Sitges overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, with WiFi Internet free access, pizzeria - opened only in the summer season -, halls, convention centre, car park and inside garage, 24 h. front desk, hall of games, laundry service, etc. It also has a small but very useful supermarket for its clients. The hotel has 3 restaurants to cover all needs of both the leisure and the business traveler. - Vento Restaurant and piano bar serves late breakfasts, appetizers, snacks, meals and drinks. The bar is located at the ground floor of the hotel, beside the el margallo restaurant, and has an interior hall and a large terrace on the promenade of sitges overlooking the sea, the only terrace in sitges of its characteristics. - El Margallo restaurant serves quality Mediterranean fresh market food in an elegant ambience. It also has a terrace on the promenade of sitges, making it possible to have lunch or dinner in front of the sea. This restaurant organizes wedding meals, business meals and banquets. - Al Capone pizzeria is opened from may thru October and specializes on pasta and pizza. It is located next to the main swimming-pool of the hotel, making it very suitable for families with children. The hotel is at walking distance of other famous sitges restaurants, such as cal pinxo, el velero, mare nostrum or la masia. Having dinner at one of them and walking back next to the sea to the hotel enjoying sitges promenade at night is an enjoyable experience.
