The Meliá de Mar is without doubt one of the most charismatic hotels on the island and is one of the best examples of modern Architecture in the Balearics. The building is now under protection due to its historical patrimony. With its 7 floors, right in front of the Mediterranean Sea, the building emphasises modernity, quality and design. The lighting and decoration of the rooms and hallways of each floor has been undertaken by a selected artist sharing and explaining their vision around a particular theme.
